Have you heard back yet?

When I was a teenager my mother took and old blanket and sandwiched it between two sheets and tied it. It was my favorite snuggle blanket and took it when I got married. It lasted many years and when it worn out, I got more sheets and fixed it. Still my favorite on the couch.

What a great reminder of what really matters to (most of) those for whom we make our quilts!

Do we even still care what the name of this book is?

As I'm looking at teaching high school students - learning to quilt- I thought I would get it and show them- as the trend is machine quilting here.

I thought of using take 5 pattern, or turning twenty with them.

So I googled Rosemary Wilkinson's name and found several books. I checked them out on amazon.ca and found one book has a hand tied quilt on it's cover. The book is The Weekend Quilter published May 2002. Could this be the book?
