And to be a BAAAD quilter, you needs tattoos, attitude, and a good knowledge of hard liquor! I'm in!!!

I certainly fit into the BAAAAD quilter category better than I do the good quilter!

This is perfect! You should give the lecture next time!

Totally agree with you, Peggy... couldn't have said it better myself... in fact, when I read the post, this is exactly what I was thinking... just didn't know how to spell "Pppppfffftttt"

:-D

WEll, I guess precision isn't a BAD quality--if you are a sewing machine. And patience does seem to help sometimes--especially when I've had too close a relationship with my seam ripper. Hmmmmm..geometry--just a big long word for being able to see the angles.

To be a GOOD quilter, you have to follow your ideas and your dreams (I have come up with some of the BEST ideas at 3 am) You have to know when to force your fabric into your design, when to let your fabric dictate the design and when to JUST WALK AWAY.
Andfinally, you have to know that the bestest quilt in the world is the one that brings tears of joy to the eyes of the recipient.

NO WAY, JOSE'. if this is true, then I'm not really a quilter. What am I?

EDIT: I may be a Rainyday quilter.
