I have plenty of patience, so I have been told!
Forget math, but we quilters tend to work around that, don't we!
Precise nature, not sure about that, but my quilts & blocks usually turn pretty good, so I'm a happy quilter!
Makes one wonder about some of those that lecture the rest of us, doesn't it, lol....

Seriously!? That lecturer was a kill joy!

anyone can make a block and quilt it in a short time and that would be a doll quilt! Not a lot of patience there.

Geometry?? I never took it in school and I make beautiful quilts.

Precision.....Will that is something to work for but if it doesn't happen it doesn't make the quilt not warm and cuddly! Whats more important cuddly, warm and colorful or all the seams matching perfect.

Our ancestors that starting making quilts didn't go to school, didn't have rotary cutters for precision cutting and worked by firelight and their quilts are what made all of us WANT to quilt because they are full of memories and love not perfection!

I would rather be wrapped up in love than perfection anyday! :-)

To be a good quilter....you only need one thing...A GOOD HEART....everything else is superfluous.....you can quilt with limited supplies, limited money, limited knowledge....but you must have HEART :-)
