Thanks for that cuti, that tute has come in handy for me right now!

I'll be sure to follow along.Your directions are good & the pics makes it easier for visual ppl like me. Thanks for doing another tute.

So talk of the cutting. The ease of this is that you can do how ever many strips as you want to. As long as sewn they match the big side.
A cut 6 1/2 cut on the big side you can cut 3 2 1/2 inch strips for the other side. The strips I found were cut 1 1/4 inch so the large side was cut at 2 3/4. |
I hope to have enough done soon to have layout possibilities.

Thank you for another awesome class cutie! I look forward to the next installment :D:D:D

I know you sew strips together, then sew them to a wide strip the width of total. That's all I know....or think I know....so a class is needed for sure.

Go to the Missouri Star Quilt Company site they have a toturial that shows how to do tube quilting. Their toturials are great.
|
Tube quilting is making strips with the side seams done. Put the top and back, right sides together and a thin layer of batting, sew the side seams, turn right side out and you have a tube. Zig zag the pieces together and finish off the ends. No need for tying or quilting, all is done. A set of Fasturn tools comes in handy for this, it has five sizes of tube turners, from spagetti strap size to a couple inches wide.
