Tula Pink's books and quilts - what do you think? Also recommendations

I recently came across "Quilts from the House of Tula Pink" but the book reviews say it's more a showcase than quilt instruction. Have you flipped thru any of her books or made her quilts? What do you think?

I'm looking for some new quilt books to drool over and buy - can you list those you love? :)

Tula Pink has beautiful fabric but I'm not too impressed with her quilt patterns. I think ever gorgeous quilt ever made is on Pinterest now. Check out the quilt book publishers Pinterest pages.

I wouldn't have thought to look there even tho I have boards. Thank you!

She was on Sewing With Nancy. Im not impressed. Her designs have to much open space for me.

She is definitely a modern quilter. I too like some of her fabrics, but her quilts are not to my taste. I am a traditionalist through and through :)

I just looked at it yesterday I did not add it to my list of books wanted.

I don't know if Civil War is your style, but I recently purchased "Civil War Legacies" by Carol Hopkins, and love it; there are at least 3 quilts in there on my to do list.

I respect Tula Pinks work , but much of it is not to my taste.

I was going to suggest that you go over to Nancy Zieman's website and check out the two-part series she did with Tula Pink. I believe it's free to watch the video. That way, you'd get a good idea of what her designs are like.

The book I've got gave instructions. Forgot the name, but it's got the picture frame quilt.
