My first thread never showed up...or if it did I can't find it.
What I said was, this quilt just won 2 more ribbons at the Jefferson Quilt Show, Jan. 27-29. First ribbon was "BEST USE OF COLOR". Second ribbon was " 2nd PLACE IN VIEWER'S CHOICE", plus a check. I was so suprised and excited about all this. Now our next destination is the Azalea Quilt Show in Tyler, March 23 &24. |

I've always admired that pattern but I know I'd never have the patience to finish it. You did a wonderful job on yours and it deserves all the ribbons you can get. You Go Girl!

Thanks so much for the "kudos"....I am so very proud of this quilt. Hope I can live up to my "reputation", and can come up with a good follow-up! As I have said before, I think MAYBE I set my standards too high for a first timer!

You deserve the ribbons! What a beautiful quilt! Love it!

Quilts like this amaze me, so beautiful. I can hardly hand sew the binding long enough to get it done let alone a masterpiece like this!!

Spectacular - is it hand applique and hand quilted? You did an amazing job!

This is such a beautiful quilt. It and YOU deserve all the ribbons..past and future. Congratulations
