Two tops I am presently working on
2 Attachment(s)
Made the Josie's Star a couple of months ago. Still need to finish it. The other one I started last week. Still need to add borders and quilt. I haven't really quilted one on my own yet. Scares me but am going to try.

Your quilts are really pretty. Don't be afraid, just jump in and away you go. I just sewed 2 pieces of backing together and took an hour to cut all the threads out. Sewed it wrong side out! ugh.
The star is so pretty, great use of colors. I love the pumpkin! Was that a panel? He's the cutest thing! Great job!
They are both really cute. I love your pumpkins feet.

Very nice. Don't be afraid, do it and enjoy it.
Both are great. I especially like the star. Great colors

Yes the scarecrow was a panel. I saw this posted on here last year but did mine differently.I searched ebay for along time to find it.

Both are fabulous!
Come on join the fun, l know you can
Love the pumkin!!
Beautiful star and darling pumpkin quilt. It needed feet in order to stand up.
Both are very cute!!
The quilts are sweet and I especially love the feet peeking underneath the pumpkin one!!
They are so Pretty, each in it's own way. Really love the star!!
Really nice job! I love both of them...I have a Fall table runner that did not get finished for last Fall, and looks like it may not get finished for this Fall either!!!!
I love them both! The star is so bright and vibrant. And the pumpkin is just my style. If it took you so long to find it on e-bay, I guess I don't stand a chance in being able to find it. Darn.
Oh they are lovely. I especially like the pumpkin! What pattern?
Oh, they are both so lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Do a pratice throw away piece first. The two you have finished are small enough you should be able to FMQ with out too much difficulty...if you use a matching thread when ever possible your quilting will blend in and the tiny mistakes will not be as noticable......GO for it....the tops will do no one any good on a closet shelf :D
Adorable! Both are great - good luck with your quilting adventure.
Both are great, but LOVE the pumpkin quilt, especially the feet! lol
Is there a pattern for the pumpkin quilt or is this your own creation? |
Both are good, but I love the colors in your star. It just glows!
Really like your work. I jumped in and FMQ'd my own quilts. The first time I didn't know what I was getting in to and just did it..........now I want it to come out like the really good LAers do them.........but I don't have the LA. Still trying though. Go ahead - give it a try! Bet you will do great! Post the final results please!
I saw this on the quilt board last year. The one I saw was done with 2" squares. I used 3" finished squares. The scare crow is a panel and I really had to search for it. Found it on Ebay. It is a Daisy Kingdom panel Called "Patchwork Pete Door Panel" I just fell in love with it.

There is one panel listed on ebay. Blue moon books and antiques I believe. Good luck to whoever is interested.
