After looking at this for 2 days...I still don't see "ugly" I do see some very pretty blocks sashed with a deep forest/hunter green. Looks beautiful!

If it was mine, I would use navy blue sashing! I think that would really make the blocks pop out at you, and bring out the colors! It's very pretty!

I agree with Jenni! I love it! I would add plain colored sashing and borders. Lay out your blocks and try different colors with them and you will know when you find just which colors are right. Keep on going and share it with all of us when your quilt top is completed....great job!! :thumbup:
