**How many blocks have you completed?
**Do you have more of the same fabrics already used for these "ugly blocks"? **Are you willing to take these blocks apart (into the 4 unit squares)? If your answers are "YES" then re-combine putting 2 of the pink V shape (Chevron) together/pairing with 2 Yellow V shape. Pair the Green Plaid V shapes with the Grey, etc. In other words, SIMPLIFY the blocks by eliminating some colors and giving greater CONTROL over the colors included. Or try putting all the small blocks 'On Point.' |
I would keep going. You will be surprised how great it looks once it's all together

I love it

I agree with everyone else here, it's not ugly at all! The worst word I could possible imagine is "busy". I like it, would be perfect for a toddler or young child as suggested too. I know my DGS would love it, and he's 2. So much to discover in just what ya have shown. Keep going, it's gonna be great and so playful.

I love scrappies! Love your blocks, very interesting. If I had these blocks, I would make bright scrappy sashing. Nice blocks, I'm sure you will make a very great quilt from them no matter what method you use.

its great, with lots of interest, it will all blend fine when you are done. Keep going!

Use muslin colored sashing and I bet you will love it.
