I had some I wasn't totally in love with...made Christmas pillow cases and used them to "wrap" gifts.

I need some ideas to help use up my stash of Christmas fabric. I thought I saw a Thread about it earlier but now I can't find it. I know I will make some of the fabric boxes! I can't believe the amount of Christmas fabric that I discovered today while working in my sewing room. Any quick to cut and sew quilt patterns? Thanks!

Hi oneteapot, try going to Gingerbread girl's Quilting Adventures http:gigisquilts.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/my-first-tutorial-triangular-thread-catcher I have made these in Christmas fabrics a little bigger & filled them with thread, sweets etc. They are so easy and everyone loved them. Letty

LOL< I was looking for some wrapping paper for a baby gift the other day and settled on a black and white striped shopping bag and added a note for books or toys or a manly diaper bag for the daddy.

As in necessity is the mother of invention

Pillow cases are always an appreciated gift, quick and easy to make. You know they would never be able to buy one like you would make!
