Always,have done it this way for years, it is so much easier, glue then press and it stays in place and no pin pokes.

I use glue with the fine tip also. Soooo much better than pins!

never had my needle gum up with glue sticks either..i use glue sticks for strip quilt blocks..saves time pressing after each strip is stitched on.. |

I have always used the hair clips but may have to try the glue so I can machine stitch binding instead of hand stitching - thanks cheryl :thumbup:

i use Sharons method of washable school glue i got the elmers glue pen it has 2 ends on it and i refill it myself i use the glue for everything now my seams come out a lot straighter i just love it and have no problem with it washing out

I've used the Elmer's washable School Glue in the past with great success (no gunked needles) and have bought the liquid glue and tips to do the Schamber's method, but haven't tried it that way yet.
