It is called InvisiGrip and it is wonderful!! Had the little sandpaper dots, but they always seem to be in the way of the measurement I was trying to make, so the InvisiGrip is perfect...totally clear!

Since I started using 'gripper dots' on rulers and templates, I have no slippage. I cut up to 8 layers at times. (I also go through a lot of blades though...)

my limit is two layers, otherwise, the bottom pieces are all wonky......with only two layers, they come out almost perfect.......gina

I usually lean over and place my entire forearm on the ruler. One long cut and I'm through! :D

Invisigrip works for me. Couldn't work without it. Also I always move the hand holding the ruler after I have cut half way.

At the most I cut only 2.

If you're only able to cut 2 layers, you probably need a new blade. I cut six with my large cutter.
Also try sticking adhesive sandpaper dots to the underside of the ruler, it will grip the fabric and prevent sliding. Put one at each corner and one in the center of the ruler.
That should solve your problem.
