Hope your JoAnn's has some white on white to buy--I tried to get some Sunday and they were almost out and one bolt had blue ink all the way thru and would not mark it down. Good luck selling that. Get the white and at least you used the pinks!

I am about to finish a scrappy. Was so proud to have made a quilt without buying any fabric. Now, I'm wondering if I have anything to bind it with.

I'm making a scrappy and was determined to not buy ANYTHING!!!. Well guess what. I had to go out yesterday and buy more Black (the background color) and then I really want to use a solid Black backing. I think it is legal to buy just your background and backing fabric! What I can't figure out is why my scrap stash looks bigger than it was before I started. It is a Queen Size quilt!

Just think of all that pink that you used up!

LOL. We are all in the same bolt. We use up scraps and have to buy other things to finish it. How else are we going to have very nice quilts. We are blessed we can do that.

Keep going with those scraps. Sew strips together then cut 2 1/2" strips on the bias to make your binding.
