In the Quilting magazines lately there are quilts with very little contrast, such as all pastel florals. Do you like them?

Some quilts seem more calming without contrast, I guess it is whatever look you are striving for :D:D:D

I prefer more contrast, most of the time.

I love contrast but sometimes I love the low contrast too. Very calming and relaxing.

I like contrast. When I look at a quilt I see dark v bright.

I agree!! To put all that work into a quilt and then not be able to see the pattern/design seems like such a waste...IMO!! I like sharp contrast in my quilts and things to ''pop'' when viewed but then, that is what makes the world go 'round!!

I like contrast as I think it makes the quilt more interesting. Only my opinion...

And I like the soft pastles.

I tend to like *some contrast* on the other hand a lot of the fabrics sold the last couple years I dont care for the fabric-colors or how they are combined at all... seems like are trying to push *fad* colors onto quilters then next year they will be *out of style* and sell us something else...
