More organization than sewing so I have to call a 'long' weekend for myself and try to finish the Quilt of Valour top tomorrow. I started piecing the sashing to the blocks, so will do more. Your works are great to hear about!

Cabin is ready for the inspector tomorrow, DH left for home 5 hours ago. Took me longer than I expected to tape the seams so after having a bite to eat I'm going to start sewing. I'm doing a trial of using the solar battery at our neighbors house. I want to see how much sewing time I will have if the panels don't charge the unit as I sew,

The holiday quilt I'm working on has a section that's FPP, so I'm very slowly learning a new skill. (new to me anyway) The going is slow ...... but I have 2 sections done and started the 3rd. My EPP project has been worked on this weekend too.

Sync, great job! I got the binding and label on my comfort quilt and washed it. It is 47 x 55” and was made using the EZ quarter square triangle ruler. The fabric colours show better while I was stitching it.

Well it looks like it took me an hour to do this one block Blazing Arrows from quilterscache for our guild BOM, the pink is the actual colour not purple

Lena1952: Thank you for posting the picture. That's just what I need to light a fire. I did a little bit of a tidy-up in the sewing space and I was absolutely floored by the number of orphan blocks/partial border strips/etc. I found some blocks I made 30-35 years ago!! And I did the "take a deep breath and pitch" method for an entire bin.

Thanks for hosting Reggiemom.

When I finally got around to my orphan blocks I had enough for two 60” x 80” tops and I still have enough for at least one more! Like you some of mine went back years.

I finished my group exchange blocks. They are squared up, signed and in their zip lock bags ready for our next meeting. I got th binding on my quilt and started turning to the back and hand stitching. Should finish today. I will just consider today an "extended weekend." Tee-Hee-Hee!
