In Melbourne Australia northern suburbs there is GJ’s Fabrics in Fairfield. They have a beautiful range but pricey.. but all the same good quality.

Gail B’s is also an amazing shop.

I only went to a couple of shops near Cairns because of the baggage weight restrictions for domestic airline flights within Australia (Cairns was our last stop). For a good selection of Aboriginal print fabrics, I'd recommend Cairns Create-It. It has yarn and other craft items, but it was open on Sunday and there were quilters from the area in the store while I was there.
