Blue for me!
|
I greatly prefer the blue. It keeps with the theme of winter. With the green and gold I worry that the snowmen might melt and disappear. Long live the snowmen because they are so cute and as we all know snowmen are fragile. They need all the icy blue to stay alive.
|
I don't care for the green/gold. (You know what causes yellow snow, don't you?) If it's between the 2, I prefer the blue but there's something that doesn't let that one "pop". Is it the gray? Have you tried a bit of red somewhere in this border? Maybe one of those skinny flange sorts of trims between the outside gray and blue?

As so many others too I love the blue one. Makes it looks more "winterly" and icy.

Blue is my vote!

Blue for me.

For me, the blue is a bit of 'blue overload'... what with the snowman backgrounds all being blue. It makes the quilt look 'flatter' and less dimensional, without much contrast. Go green or any other color that is in the quilt. How about picking up one of the dark reds?

Love your snowmen. I vote for the blue .... with it the quilt says "cozy on a cold winter evening" .... green says spring is here. But, I live in Los Angeles where we don't have snow and thus I dream of a cozy winter evening !

I think the blue. Be sure to use a darker blue for the binding , to stop the eye.

Blue!
The above message has been found to be too short so I am lengthening it. Me? Wordy me? Too short? Well, I never. Is it okay now? Pat |
