Mine cost about $4 each from walmart

What a great idea. I emptied a book shelf for my fabric, but it's full and junky looking now. I like your idea.

I have over 2 doz of these, hubby use to be a Home delivery milk man.

My son made cubbies for me to put my fabric in but I have so much that I also have the cubes, like you, and the plastic drawers like you and the larger ones and I am overflowing. I am not a "fabricholic" I am a "hoarder" and refuse to change. As long as my husband doesn't commit me I am fine. I have one room in my house that is just fabric and my longarm frame. Just can't resist the fabric. Sick, yes, and loving it.

We used zip ties on ours to keep it together.

I did that a few years ago with my cookbook collection. I will have to get some more crates and do that with my material. Really good idea.. Thanks..
