Oh I know and it is wonderful for us really in boon docks where we have no quilting or fabrick shops for about 85 miles .Hurray Hurray.

I agree, hope that means all stores. I hate to drive 45 min to get to a walmart that does still have fabric. I am thrilled to hear that............ :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I had limited my WalMart stops to just two, one in Oak Hill (Austin) and the WM in Fredericksburg. These two kept bolted fabric coming in all this time while the others including the one close to me here where I work had weineed out on that prepackaged crap. I was told by an employee measuring out my fabric in the Fredericksburg store that their manager fought to keep the fabric and now they have gotten in more and really nicer fabric as well. There was even some quilting tutorials on nice color sheets by certain bolts of cotton to tear off and take. I am so happy that it will be coming back to the big WM here by my work. Now I will return to making lunch hour trips!

I hope it is true for ALL stores. I watched the video, thank you for the one who put it on. I was just asking the manager at one of my walmarts last week and he said no, they were not bringing back fabric. But then, some of the stores in other states never lost theirs.

The ones by me kept fabric - some did move to the precuts while others kept the bolts. I can't stand the precuts, because I like to unroll the bolt and feel and see the whole pattern. Also, I think the quality is quite horrible on all of the precuts and 90% of the bolts that the ones by me carry. I've got Joann's, Hobby Lobby, and Hancock's plus 3 LQS in my area, so I highly doubt that I'll ever buy fabric from Walmart. Even if they do get decent quality fabric, I can get the same quality with a coupon from Joann's, HL, or Hancocks. While I do some grocery shopping at WM, my philosophy on most of it's non-food products is "you get what you pay for".
