ok, I'm back, there is no fabric dept. at the Avon In. store YET. The folks there tell me it's coming, but they dont know how large the dept. will be yet.

I guess we were one of the "fortunate" areas. Our
WM never lost its fabrics.

Sometimes it pays to grumble. I am Quilter, hear me roar.

we are 30 min from either of 2 LQS..neither are worth the drive, one is too spendy and the other bought out an older store and put NEW prices on the old fabric...heard she is closing this summer..

our only Joanns is 2 hours from me and not worth the gas to get there...so it is the very limited hobby lobby here in town or the internet for us!

I have a JoAnn's just 20 min away, but cannot afford the prices. I use Connectingthreads.com. If I am going to spend $50. it will be all for material (free shipping) and not spend $10. a yard for it.

According to my newspaper this morning the story is true,

that would be great in Aberdeen Wa the only store that carried fabric was Wal Mart than they took it out and you had to drive over a hour to Olympia to buy, so hopefully it will be coming back, like anything else you have to look the fabric over really good, some is too thin if I can see my hand though it I won't buy
