I went in to buy some webbed folding chairs the other day and was told they don't sell them anymore! There are TOO many things they don't sell anymore, after driving out competitors who did sell them, first! I hope the sporting goods and other things they got rid of all come back. I just won't know what to do if they end up with a real fabric section again!

I hope that includes my store. But I have to wonder if "bolts" is their way of saying only the 5yd. bolts currently available in some stores now.

One gripe of mine is that they seem to have reduced your choices of some items. Like maybe two major brands and then the store brand-----but other minor brands are gone.

I'll be watching for this to really happen.

If you are going to make a remake like that, could you possibly back it up with some more informaiton?

Years ago we hit a fabric counter during the regular gal's lunch. They sent over a kid who knew nothing about fabric. She did not even know how long a yard was. (blame that on the schools). BAD! Anyway while my sis in law showed her how to cut fabric and price it, I went in search of the manager.

I told him he was unfair to us the customers, unfair to the kid trying to fill in and unfair to Wal-Mart. We could very easily have told her a yard was 60 inches or 72 inches or whatever we wanted if we were dishonest. It was bad for the girl, becaue she was frustrated beyond belief. And it took us, the customers, about 5 times the time we'd normally have spent in line.

What surprised me the other day, I got a gal in Jo-ann's who didn't know how to cut a third of a yard. She almost cut 2/3 until I stopped her. Adn of course, she had no idea that 1/3 of a yard was .3333

Okey dokey. Now I'm really happy./
