I know what you mean. I organized my fabric and found all kinds of projects in 1 stage or another. Now I have made my mind up to finish all the incomplete projects before I buy more or start another new. What a bummer!

I love fabric and I have NOT bought fabric since January 2011. ahhhh I haven't sewn in two months b/c school has been crazy. But now it is June and I am done with school and my Monday Quilt Camp starts June 13. But I have tons of projects and beautiful fabric to get into. My problem will come when I need backing... But the bet is still on with my Quilt Camp friends --4 of us still have not bought fabric since January!!!! Enjoy the cleaned up stash!!!

If you feel guilty about having too much fabric, load it up and take it to your local charity quilting group...then stop at your favorite quilt shop and buy without feeling guilty.

And if the guilt overpowers you, please send it to my Kreative Kids newly formed sewing group, and we can continue to learn how to quilt and sew.......

Hi, my name is Bev, and I just relapsed. I should have come to this forum BEFORE ordering fabric on line--but it was on sale, and I know I can handle occasional purchases, I am a social purchaser!

I will not buy fabric. I will not buy fabric. I too have gone through my stash. Oh the things I found that I had stored! What was I thinking! I will not buy fabric. I will not buy fabric. Some of this is "What was I thinking?!" I will not buy fabric. I will not buy fabric. I just love bargains on fabric. It doesn't help that my DH says "If I could buy wood at the prices you get sale fabric, I would have a bigger stash too!" (Yep, he has a stash of wood for his projects.) I will not buy fabric. I will not buy fabric. I will not buy fabric. Thanks for the reminder!
