And we all forget the saying "she who dies with the most fabric wins."
I just got several very large containers with my mother's stash and she was a shopaholic too. My intent is to make a quilt for everyone, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all from "grannies stash". I have my work cut out for me, gotta get busy.

I have been working on 2 queen sized quilts since Jan and did complete 2 wounded warrior ones but I an anxious about starting a trip around the world that i look at the fabric and drool.WHEN. and of course I continue to buy any and all batiks just because. So we all have a version off the same desease quoltaholic and it is better than a martini and more fun than a tranquilizer.

I have offered to share some of my stash with a local group for charity quilts. We'll see how it works out. I'm afraid my stash will disappear quickly!

My aim now is to get all my fabric into my cupboards and not in bins. Plus I have plenty of ufos to work on. So I am going to try and see if I can go alot longer without buying fabric, with h opes of clearing out some of what I have.

great story!

I think you need to come to my house and organize. Mine are in baskets by color (sort of ) but I sure could use those sticky notes. LOL
