You are becoming the bargello queen. (And my autocorrect wanted to make that bordello queen--yikes!) :) Dina |
The peaks should be up. That is what the Bargello needlepoint books display. Most Bargello designs originated back in the Elizabethan period as needlepoint designs

I didn't follow a pattern on this one, but I had thought the brown should go on the bottom, until I saw that it looked good upside down too. Still don't know which way I prefer. If I don't decide soon, I will really go with the two sleeves idea. I am going to follow a pattern with my next Bargello, as this "free lancing" stuff is harder than I thought! When I researched bargello, I found reference to two needlepoint chairs in a castle somewhere, Italy maybe? Pretty interesting, I thought. Dina |
I like the darker on the top. The darker looks farther back in space and the lighter looks like another layer of mountains or whatever in the front.

I like the 2nd picture.

If this is any help to you I like the bottom one the best. :)

That is an awesome piece of work. It's going to look great whichever way you hang it.

Personally, I like the one on the bottom better. It's more intriguing, visually, IMHO. I would hang it that way.

Darker on the bottom...

I am leaning towards the darker on the bottom. I am putting the borders on, and here is a picture of where I am now. I really only want to put one sleeve on it, so a decision will be coming soon. :) I hope....
