welcome to my jungle- new quilt top
 

my mother's husband happened to post on my facebook that i was the 'Tarzan' of quilters:D
so, i figured it must be time to make a jungle quilt- i've had 3 or 4 different 'wild life-jungle critters' panals on the closet shelf for years- finally decided to grab one- grab a bunch of scraps & see what i could come up with-
of course it still needs to be quilted & bound- but the top is done & turned out pretty good-

thank you- but i'm not always so 'prolific' sometimes they just---come together quickly & easily---sometimes i have a real problem getting any done- and i do still have a couple 'years old' UFO's that i just can not seem to get to come together.
i love it when they are 'flowing'
last year was a very difficult year in my life & i was not very productive- this year seems to be much better & so far it's been fun to take out an arm load of fabrics from the shelves & just start piecing- and have quilts come out of it all :)
thanks for all the compliments- i have a couple more panals maybe i will do something with...we shall see if i remain 'prolific' when i get back from vacation---

It's gorgeous! I really like the mix of blocks and patterns. I love looking at quilts on my IPad, I can zoom in and really see the details and colors! Excellent job!

it's not bound yet- it's not quilted yet- only a top i put together- haven't figured out what to use for the backing yet- so have no idea what i'm going to use to bind it yet-

I've been studying your quilt, it's so pretty. Lots going on in it. Love the French Braid, border and cornerstones. Looks like lots of batiks, which I love. Great job.
