Your quilt turned out great! I made one of these recently and wanted to share the quilting design I finally decided on. Here's a close-up photo of one of the blocks. The pattern is called cinnamon buns.

Wow, that is beautiful. Way past my skills though. :) How about a picture of your whole quilt?? I'd love to see it.

This is a great modern quilt! Do your SID then echo it in all the white spaces, about a quarter inch apart, filling the white - that would be spectacular!

I think that you have conjured up a winner.

I think echo quilting all of the white negative spaces would be ideal. I would also echo quilt the white squares in a square. Orrr I would do circles or swirls all over the entire quilt for something different from all the straight lines.

Thanks....I posted it on this thread. I can't take credit for the actual stitching on the quilting design. It was done by a local long arm quilter.

Oh, that is beautiful! You have to be very pleased, and so does he! When I am making a quilt for someone, I really like them to pick out the pattern and the fabric. That way I don't have to spend the whole quilting time wondering if it is going to be liked. Very comfortable feeling.
