I agree. The fabric was a very nice quality.

I use their coupons to get the pricey tools, rulers, etc. Will also use one to buy a bolt of Warm & Natural, or 10 or more yards of WonderUnder & so on.

Even if you get your newspaper, you can get a couppon off the website. Print out as often as you need to and visit every day. ☺

Too far to go every day. They're only a mile or so from our JA's. What I spend on gas, I don't spend on fabric.

Hobby Lobby has fairly good quality of fabrics. It usually runs $7-8 /yd often with 30% off sales. The quality seems to be between Joann and LQS. There may be more HL coming to your area since my area went from 1 to 4 in about 1 yr. If you are looking for a certain color of thread or zipper go to Joanns since HL does not carry a wide variety. Their yard is very nice with a good selection. They also have a wide variety of other crafts.

According to their help, this is the first of three stores they will open in central Florida in the next two months. I've got a couple of remodels going on within a mile or two from me. Could I be so lucky????????

There's also a Michael's near by. They're definitely going to give the local stores a run for their money.

From what I saw of the crafts, there seemed to be a dabble of this and that except scrap booking. They've got enuf paper to cover the town. Also looked like a good paint supply. I also do dollhouses and mini boxes and their mini supply was very limited. That leaves the mini shops and there's only one in our area. Super shop but like fabric, I can go broke in there very quick.

I like some of their fabric. Ours is a little better priced though.

My Hobby Lobby honors competitors coupons. They have taken Micheals and Jo Ann coupons.

I learned from my friend today that the store didn't get it's final permit till three days before their soft opening. She talked to one of the salespeople who told her that they still haven't fully stocked this store and some changes are going to be made. This might explain why there were so many open shelves or ones only partly stocked. Hey, I'm open minded and more than willing to give them a chance.
