I am just tickled pink. I have never, ever won anything before. We have a small quiltshow here in town every year ,and I try to go if I am not working. They had some beautiful quilts there and about 20 vendors.wasn't allowed to take pictures though.....anyway I drew a number and could not believe that I got the winner :):0 ).The Batiks were the doorprice, they are so pretty.
Then I bought the Moda fabric and the panels from Diana Phallen. I am doing the happy dance tonight. |
OOOOH, I really like Diane Phalen's prints...are those some of her new ones?
|
What a great prize...love those panels too, they look really good.
|
Lucky girl!

Everything looks great. Glad you had such a nice day.

I found some of her really old panels at a garage sale for 25cents! That's when I fell in love with her fabrics.
I think she's gonna have some fall prints coming out later this year. You've got her most recent stuff....it's so beautiful. |
Lucky you!!!!!!!11

I would be doing the happy dance also - good for you!

Now I have a question. I want to make a 42 inch tabletopper for easter out of the Moda fabric. I know that i want to use the green with the butterflies as the border, but what pattern could i use to make the most of the fabric. I usually don't have so many prints in one quilt and now I am worried to mess it up.
What would you think about circles appliqued on squares????Too Busy?? |
Very nice fabs there. Hooray for you. It always feels so good to win now and then.
|
yah! congratulations, gorgeous fabrics!

Holy cow. I just bought the second panel from the left last summer. Did not know it was Diane Phalen. Also bought the co-ordinating one for backing. Hope to make a queen size quilt for my bedroom. Beautiful print.
