I took these pictures at Sisters this year, in the little grocery. These yo-yo's are sewn together without any backing or backing, so the quilt has "holes" in it.

J Hittle sewing supply has an adorable Christmas tree pattern using stacked Yo Yo's. It was in my email this morning.

I bought a big bag of yo-yos last summer at a yardsale...and i asked myself the same question! There is a paper in the bag with the number 780. That is probably how many are in there. There is also a stack of circles cut that is 3" high. The finished yo-yos are about 2" across.
A friend brought a yo-yo quilt to our quilt group last month for show and tell. It may have just been what i needed to decide to put one together myself. I had considered selling them, but i liked that quilt she showed. |

I am planning a table runner with mine. I will never make enough for a quilt. My GD trimmed a purse with them. Two rows around the lower part. A wall hanging for your GD's room. My GD wants to mount some bright ones on black for her room.

you could sew them end-to-end, and make a garland for your granddaughters bedroom - maybe around the window or hanging from the ceiling. that way grandma will always be with her.

On my nightstand, I have had for years and years, one that Mom made with leftover fabrics of dresses that she had made herself before she got married. I cherish it very much even if some parts ares beginning to tear at some places

Make more and put them together for a light weight summer coverlet.
