What Back to School supplies do you use for quilting?

https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...s/rolleyes.png I like to buy the plastic pencil boxes that have the sliding drawer. The shape is a long rectangle and fits a rotary cutter perfectly. The top has a flap with a snap. I use a permanent marking pen to label what's inside. I also like the clear zipper pouches for holding my new rotary replacement blades.

When back to school supplies are on sale...what do you look for that works well for your quilting hobby?

I use Emer's Gue in attaching my binding to the quilt before I take it to the machine to stitch down. This way I know I have enough binding and no pins to prick me. I also use it on difficult blocks when I need to make sure the seams meet and not shift when I go to stitch them down. Recently on a mock cathedral windows quilt I glued down the curved section before I took it to the machine to stitch down. Would have been too many pins to prick me for sure.

I use the same as LAF2019 but, I also add pocket folders and notebooks to contain the projects I've printed.

I use some of this metal clips that you squeeze to open....to hold blocks or parts for blocks together....easier than pins for me and I don't get poked. I have used a stack of small sticky notes stuck to my stich plate to mark the seam line and also to temperaly label things but need to use a pin for a longer period as the sticky notes will fall off. Oh, and I use sticky notes stuck on the bed of my machine if I am using specific stitch settings so I don't forget what I was using if I turn the machine off.

I like the pencil boxes. They are so easy to pack your rotary cutter, small scissors, thread etc. in and keep organized that way.

Just Elmer's washable school glue, but, some places put it on sale throughout the year.

I bought the Crayola erasable colored pencils. I thought they would by handy to have. I buy lots of the Crayola Ultra Clean markers.

Crayola washable markers, plain old blackboard chalk, Elmer's washable school glue and a cheap compass to draw circles.Couldn't quilt without them.....
The chalk comes off with a soft toothbrush.
