I used the E. Burns method. I love hand work and hand appliqued all the rings down. It was really FUN.

This is queen sized and I machine quilted on my regular Janome.

I found it very easy to follow.

And this method is a "Quilt as You Go" style. She also shows how to finish the edges so no binding, either!

i made a queen one using Sharon Pederson's method. The book is Machine Applique for the Terrified quilter. The arcs are appliqued onto a square background. I would highly recommend this technique; I would never do one any other way.
