besides this one of course which website do you find the most informative or inspirational?

Carrie Jo 07-11-2011 06:17 AM

This one is the only one I have time for. I cant seem to get off it let alone any other.

katier825 07-11-2011 06:28 AM

There's too many! Actually I like Quiltville a lot.

http://www.quiltville.com/

Down on the right there are helpful charts and such.

laughingquilter 07-11-2011 06:31 AM

I think it depends what your current interest is. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on Day Style Designs because I've been practicing my free motion quilting. Just search......I've probably learned the most right here though. And....caution.....it's really easy to spend more time 'learning' on the board than actually sewing on your machine! LOL

blueangel 07-11-2011 06:33 AM

I only use this one. It's the best.

Amythyst02 07-11-2011 06:35 AM

you mean there are others besides this one ???

Youtube :D The videos are very informative and helpful.
Quilters Cache, blocks galore, and then some :D
Google... not a quilting site, but it is great for helping me find them :D:D:D

Hen3rietta 07-11-2011 07:45 AM

This one and primarily for me sites that have compendiums of blocks/designs like Quilters' Cache

Rose Marie 07-11-2011 07:50 AM

Depents on what you want to watch.
If you want to watch experts doing half hour quilt shows
http://quilterstv.com is the free one.

Ditto..I didn't know she has basic tutorials there as well. Great place to send a newbie.

Sunny580 07-11-2011 08:07 AM

My SIL in MI has a quilting blog that I follow plus I live close to Nancy's Notions so I watch her tv shows.

Raggiemom 07-11-2011 08:47 AM

I would have said this one of course. Just checked out quiltville--looks like I have a new site to explore! Thanks.

I love the quilting arts magazines and site. I enjoy their emagazines as well. There is info on sewing, painting, free videos. :-D

Shelbie 07-11-2011 01:32 PM

I've always enjoyed http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html because it just has so many patterns and information. It was probably the first quilt site that I ever used and it is still a favourite.

jitkaau 07-12-2011 04:02 AM

I started out with The World Wide Quilting Page and that takes you on to other sites. Quilterstv.com is very interesting but when all is said and done, the Quilting Board caters for all levels - which cannot be said for all sites.

I was going to mention this one! :)

quiltaroni 07-12-2011 04:33 AM

I am here every day and have to plan my time to quilt around this addiction

Limey 07-12-2011 05:22 AM

I like the discovery which comes with being "led" from one site to another. Lately I have been reading sites for modern quilts; Esch house quilts and Film-in-the-Fridge. These are not correct addresses but you can Google them.

SWChick 07-12-2011 05:27 AM

Quiltingscrappy is good, smaller but growing.

mhansen6 07-12-2011 06:12 AM

To find a fabric you want quiltshop.com is great. They search over 200 quilt shops. It makes it easy to find fabric.

peacequiltingnana 07-12-2011 06:24 AM

Besides this one, which I may be addicted to, I like Leah Day and thanks to someone on this board, discovered Patsy Thompson who has a bunch of free videos.

This is the greatest website ever for tutorials! SO easy to follow. I made three quilts so fast. So many neat new things! It will be well worth your time to check it out!

Youtube is absolutely fantastic. All those videos.

Jshep 07-12-2011 07:28 AM

I love Missouri Star Quilt Company, but I can't remember what to do to prevent the start and stop on the videos. There was something posted on this board some time back about that, but I can't seem to find it.

AnitaSt 07-12-2011 07:50 AM

I've learned more on this site than from the rest of the web! That said, there are several blogs that I follow and they often have interesting tutorials. I think my favorites right now are:

http://reproquiltlover.blogspot.com/

http://barbarabrackman.blogspot.com/ ...includes a lot of history and pictures of old quilts

BettyGee 07-12-2011 08:19 AM

I'm with most of you in that - there is another site?

Rubyrednails2 07-12-2011 08:19 AM

I LOVE "Patchwork Times" by Judy Laquidara. It is the first thing I read every morning. She also is a knitter and loves to cook and bakes her own bread. I learn alot from Judy!

Yes! I like Quiltville too! Also enjoy reading several Quilting blogs such as Blogging near Philadelphia (great links to other blogs) and Cheaper than Therapy. Green Fairy Quilts, The Quilting Professor and Wish Upon a Quilt are favorites also.

klgreene 07-12-2011 09:48 AM

This one, so far it has absolutely everything I need to learn and them some. There are always links to look at, but this is where I spend too much time at. And I've learned more in the last year than I have in the last 30, just because of this board.

grandme26 07-12-2011 03:38 PM

I have looked, joined and bookmarked too mant to count and this is the one I come to daily.
