I like the green but I might do the small darker blue strip and then the green and then the blue again for the binding, if you have enough fabric.

I was wondering that same thing... However, the blue strip is bias tape. Could I still use that?

Cute quilt. Thanks for sharing!

I vote for the green as well.

It's good to hear that I'm not the only one that thinks ahead to the next step while I'm working on a quilt. Once I get to borders, I'm thinking about how I want to quilt it. When I'm quilting it, I'm thinking right past the binding and on to the next project. Thanks for affirming that I'm normal after all.

If the blue is bias tape then I would probably just save it for the binding. If it is included in the border it will probably stretch and make a rippled border.

Yeah, that is exactly what I am afraid of... What do you think about this idea: Instead of sewing the blue strip between the quilt top and the border, would it work to sew it ON the border? Or would that double layer make it too thick?

Green gets my vote.

If the bias tape isn't really thick than it could be sewn or appliquéd to the border.

Both the bias tape and the green polka dot fabric are not very thick, so I will try to sew a strip on the border as you suggest!

The green dot border is perfect. I like how it pulls the green dot color from the center of the quilt. Lucky baby!
