I have a dear friend who is expecting twins. Naturally I am making quilts. She thinks she is having one boy and one girl (early in 2nd trimester ultrasound). I am not comfortable making pink and blue as those things can be wrong at this point.

I was thinking that I would make one green quilt. What color would you make the other quilt?

I am thinking of making Log Cabins, one each of two different designs.

yellow or lavender

I would make the other yellow tones, both green and yellow are good neutral colors.

You can do any child friendly quilt and it will be okay - they don't have to be gender specific. I used to crochet using the primary colors because little ones really like the bright colors.

Either yellow or orange or red or blue - I mean - blue isn't really gender specific is it really?

I love yellow - my little boy who is 3 months looks so lovely in lemony yellow colours...
