First I scoured the kitchen, micro, oven and fridge included, then prepared a breakfast casserole for dinner, and then I cut all 36 blocks for the Boomerang swap, another 24 blocks for another group swap, and 24 blocks for the Christmas block swap! Still have 24 blocks to cut out for Veteran quilts Then I will be all set to sew at the retreat this weekend...

After I de-string the living room carpet...what a mess all that cutting can be!

Sad to say, I did nothing but keep clicking to see if the board was up. Sad huh? :oops:

Gosh, what did you do in your spare time? You make me tired just reading all you did today.

I cleaned my bathrooms. and sewed a few squares together.

Well, I didnt know it was down,but I was working anyway :) shhhh, dont tell anyone but I always check the board throughout the day normally :):) just too busy today.

Just waited for it to come back do not do any sewing today can not get over this head ache that I have had for several days just sinus but boy does it hurt sure wish that it would rain a good slow rain and maybe get rid of some of these bugs and smells in the air

I cleaned off the ironing board and started sewing the blocks together for my oldest granddaughter's quilt. I need it done by the last saturday in October. Cleaning off the ironing board took half the afternoon though.

Amazing how much I got done! 4 loads of laundry, grocery shopping, trip to BB&Beyond, kept checking my Ipad, nope, not on yet, lets go to the next thing on our list. Got my whole list finished, made lasagna for dinner, worked in the yard a bit and finally sat down and away we go.

I put the binding on my first king size quilt.

I did that 7 letter dirty word..C L E A N E D ....and run to the computer hoping that the board was back up

I got some sewing done. I made 15 blocks and picked up in my sewing room.

Well first I cut the grass, did the edgeing, cut branches off trees, raked the yard and they went for a 3 mile walk. I must have been out of my mind. And it's 94 drgrees.

HaHa!! You sound like me!! "Pitiful" my sister said when I complained about not getting on link. She thinks I spend too much time here! :D

Finished my postage stamp top!

Baked 3 loaves of bread, and caught up on house cleaning and an hour of sewing.

I was frantically trying to get the board back up!

Just to let you all know... we experienced an unexpected network outage today. We're still working out some loading issues related to this outage. The website appears to be standing up on two legs again, but please excuse the occasional misstep while we come back online completely.

Very sorry for all this downtime today. Glad to hear most of you put it to good use! ;-)

I did laundry, worked on some coasters and let my grandson (who just got his learners permit) drive us to the recycling center.

It was down today? Glad I was busy all day because I would have panicked! ha ha

Shop, shop, but no quilting supplies today. Nothing too productive. And try to connect each time I got to the computer. Oh yeah, and I really missed the board and all of you.

I did grocery shopping, dusted, vacuumed, cleaned bathrooms, washed the kitchen floor and made dinner for my ds and dbil. Good thing it was down or they would have eaten in a "dirty" house. LOL

Shampooed carpets. Looks so nice now. Maybe the board should close down a few times a months then I can get more done around here. lol

I was at work all day and didn't know it was down until I got home and after checking out a few other sites I go to, eating supper and changing into my relaxing clothes I tried to open the site and it wouldn't come up.
Glad I wasn't home all day! I'd have gone nuts! And gotten a lot of quilting done. lol

I did a major grocery stock up shop, then took just as long putting it all away. Then got dinner made ahead of time. Wished I had done some sewing tho.....

I canned 15 quarts of pickles. Some Bread and Butter style and some Kosher Dill. Then vaccumed the house then vaccumed my sewing room. DH put new blinds up in the sewing room and I watched.

I got some sewing done on my quilt from the Half square triangle exchange I was involved in with ladies from my church.

Cleaned house sporadically while checking the board every half hour or so... also had visitors for awhile.

I should have been cleaning house, but I spent my time on the phone trying to resolve an insurance claim mix-up, and the rest of my time here on the computer checking out cruise vacation options.

Me too, thought my computer skills were showing. Didn't know what I was doing wrong. So I just sulked.
