Wow Ruth, I never saw this. I did order one panel of the smaller pictures, and the lighter and darker dot and flower prints. I think I can do something similar to this with what I have. Thanks so much.

Where did you find this panel??? Love it.

Maybe sew some strips onto the larger picture (log cabin style) to enlarge it some, then alternate the smaller pics with star blocks, or something appliqued-maybe hearts. You could also use a pretty blender fabric to sash it, then use a lighter blender or tone on tone for the alternating blocks with the little pics. A pretty quilting design would be pretty in the light blocks.

Hancocks of Paduka has the panel and all of the companion fabrics. I just ordered what I dont have to finish this up just like the picture Ruth posted. I cant wait to do this project. I want to thank everyone who took the time to look and comment. I love this board and all its members!!!

When I look at the pictures, what about a simple 4 patch square between or half square triangle triangles in matching colors to the panel between those pictures? Make a couple and put it next to the panels and see what appeals to you.

I would probably leave it as is, put some colorful flying geese in the bare spots. In the center would do two rows facing opposite directions, then put a border around the whole piece and quilt each picture separately to outline it and make it stand out from the rest of the panel.

This is a photo of the first panel quilt i ever made. Even though I didn't have a large panel, you could do something similiar setting the large block off to one side, then making a column or row of the others offset. Super cute panel you have - mind me asking the fabric/manufacturer details? Thanks :-)

The panel is beautiful, you could cut apart, if the blocks are different sizes - lay out on graph paper and add frames around some of the blocks and add additional fabric and different sized blocks to fill in the gaps. I will try and post a picture if I can figure it out ,of one that I did with different sized blocks.
