I call mine the sewing room. If you are looking for a special name, how about "_______'s Inspiration"?

The kitchen or living room if hand quilting.

Mine is called Sew Rotten Room. It's a great room that my husband made for me. I feel just spoiled rotten every time I walk in there. It's light and bright. I've got a cutting table, pressing table and sewing tables, complete with drawers and shelves - all made by my husband. There is a "store" of fabric along with my sitdown longarm machine. Like I said - I'm feel positively spoiled every time I open that door! I guess I felt like I had to justify it's name.

I have one room where my sewing machines, ironing board, design wall and all the stuff I use often are kept. That one is just the sewing room. Then I have the room next to it for my big cutting table, cabinets for my books, sewing machine totes, patterns and "extra stuff" is stored. My husband calls that one the "sewing annex" :D

My husband has a name for my room. He says he doesn't step foot in the hallowed ground.

I am lucky enough to have a free standing studio in my back garden and it is called "the cabin".

I think you should change the name to Sew Blessed Room or Sew Happy Room or Such a Good Husband Room

A few years ago I embroidered clock faces and made clocks for my sewing freinds. In the center of the clock was Maggie's Studio, ect, and thus it is sewing studio!!!

Exactly what my hubby calls the second guest room I just painted. The first guest room became my sewing room, and the new guest room only has a twin bed, my grandmother's machine in a cabinet (used as an end table) , a second end table, my son's dresser, and an extra fabric dresser. I kept referring to it as the new guest room, but hubby said, "Might as well call it what it is: your sewing annex." He's right. We have guests annually; I use my sewing room weekly.
