Was thrilled to get my embrodiery machine several years ago, just now becoming interested in working with this and I don't know what to make. So far I have made some burp cloths. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

I use mine much more than I ever thought I would. I do all of the fleece baptism blankets for my church; also, hand towels, t-shirts, the edges of pillowcases, little canvas bags, make-up bags, back packs, pillows, etc...

Here's a few things I make and embroider on - cup sleeves, fleece scarf, reversible hobo purse, table topper, tote bag, table runner (purchased in an after Christmas sale), denim jacket (purchased from the Goodwill), onesie, fleece jackets I've made and embellished on the back with a design that matches the collars/cuffs, doiley, Christmas ornaments covered in lace that was made on the embroidery machine, and a boy fleece blanket WIP.

This website is great: http://emblibrary.com
they have so many designs and project ideas, and the prices are good. They always email special discounts-I rarely pay full price for a design.

How about labels for your quilts? ;-)

I make a lot with my machine, there is so much to do, right now I am doing some free standing lace designs, they are fun and fast, the only limit is your imagination.

Wow! Judy, those are all so beautiful and creative. My faves are the onsie with the diaper butt comment and the reverse hobo bag. What machine do you have? And where did you get the designs? I have been too chicken to try the module for my Bernina. It's out of the box, but in it's soft case. I looked at it twice! Too bad that doesn't count.

I do alot of Free Standing lace, and Ive done towels, face washers, wall hangings, placemats, laptop bags, knitting bags, my mum is currently doing a queen sized quilt and using the embroidery machine to do the alternating blocks with all types of horses.

Gosh, you really are only limited to your imagination.
