Does your pedal reach that far? It must. It's a great idea!

Yes it does. The only problem I've had is the foot pedal moving under the cupboard at the bottom but I solved it by putting a couple of jello boxes in front of it. I'm tacky if nothing else and my husband thinks I'm nuts.

I use a rubber-backed mousepad with the wrist rest on it. Turn it around and butt the pedal against the wrist rest. That sounds like a tongue-twister, lol!

Great idea, I'll try it. Spouse will like it, says why don't I MAKE the jello!

Last September, when they were selling the back to school supplies, I went to Target and got a rolling desk chair. What was different about it was that the back and seat were made of some sort of bungie cord fabric. It is very cool and comfortable.

Never have a back problem with these chairs.

Please, can you tell us your chairs brand and where we can go try one on?

thank you for sharing your story...interesting how life takes such good turns when you least expect them.

I use a cushioned office chair without arms. It's adjustable and I make it just right. It's also on wheels so I can roll to and from the ironboard even though it's usually to the left of me. The wheels help me move along just right. If I am at my computer it comes back in with me.

I like to see what's i'm doing. I sit on a 24" round swivel stool.

I used an office chair with lumbar cushion for a while then found a cheap bright red chair (lol) that had a very low back ... met my back only mid-way. However, it was great because it didnt push my upper back forward as most chairs seem to do. It was luck to find my red chair...funny how things work out.

Walking through the Goodwill store one day on my way to the used books, I spied an office chair w/out arms.....it's mine now and iit is great, also use it at my longarm and it slides across my floor great!
