Of couse most of these fall into the same category as the big three: Mac vs pc Nikon vs Canon. And Mayonnaise vs Miracle Whip. Nobody can do better than to agree to disagree on those and I guess a lot of these quilting "discussions" are the same. |
we come down on both sides of the copyright laws. Some seem unfair. I don't sell my quilts so I'm not affected much.

depends on how much coffee i'v had at the time LOL

I think the debate about walmart fabric compaired to LQS. I like both and use all

To wash or not wash the fabrics (and whatever else is dunkable) before cutting -
at least it's one that I feel very strongly about. In my opinion, it's a "laying the foundation" step for whatever is done next. The quality of WalMart fabrics also gets a lot of discussion - in my mind - "it depends" |
From time to time I see the issue... If you tie a quilt is it a quilt or blanket.
I tie my quilts, It's too expensive for me to send out. I only make quilts for family |
Guess it also depends on who is involved.

I like mayo and miricle whip. I like traditional and art quilts. I like LGS and Walmart and Joannes and hobby lobby and hancocks. I like steam and no steam. I like reading many different opinions. Sometimes I lijke adding my opinion. :)

I am thinking it might be how to get the scant 1/4" seam just right.
