I'd take the 12" Accuquilt Companion (to the Cube) die set cause I want that drunkard's path die and it doesn't come in that size individually. And have asked my son to cut a hole in my sewing table and drop the machine so my shoulders aren't always hurting. But I'd take piece and progressiveness in the US now, too!

New overhead lights for my sewing room.

New big shears, new little scissors, new snips, millions of rotary blades. I guess I'm on a cutting and ripping spree.

At this point, it is very difficult to know what to ask for. I have everything I could possibly want/need. We give each other things, buy lots of gifts for the grands and write checks to charities. The local Habitat for Humanity is the main recipient this year.

I ask for someone to clean my fridge. It costs nothing but time and some chatter. Once, I actually got it! I was thrilled because I HATE to clean fridges.

Your Bernina dealer can get those old style feet for you. Or, you can find them used on Ebay, all the time.

I would like lots of different minky

I just got mine on Saturday. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but can't wait. I also bought my first set of rulers.

According to my dealer who was trained by Bernina and actually helped write the original Presser Foot Book Series, plus trains other dealers, were smart to wait and buy the Bernina foot as it has a spring on it made especially for Bernina's. The generic foot that some people buy eventually will break parts on the Bernina machines. I don't remember the part, but she did say it was expensive to replace.

You might consider joining a guild. My guild not only has wonderful speakers and classes including Sharon Schamber (one of 22 in the world), but also a lot of other famous quilters.

We also have individual friendship groups of about 10 who get together once a month to learn new things or sew.

I am so happy I joined.

I'm eyeing the Brother Scan & Cut. Not only for quilting specifically, but for a lot of other crafty and sewing-related projects too. I have a couple art quilts in mind that it'd help out with immensely...my hand gets a lot of fatigue from cutting freezer paper templates & stencils by hand with an Exacto blade.
