My mother-in-law was viewing quilts that were being auctioned of for the West Texas Rehab Center in Abilene TX. In the quilt's summary statement it said, "One Needle". What exactly does that mean? Does anybody know? I'm curious too!

(Each quilt is referred to as a "one-needle quilt," since only one woman quilts an entire piece.) |

It sounds like a term the Amish use. I thought maybe it was when just one woman does the quilting.
