I've been wanting to do a throw or twin size "inbetween" my other slow going projects. I thought that all of you wonderful quilters could offer some great suggestions. It's been awhile since I've completed a quilt and I'm currently working on some more difficult patterns.
I'm thinking maybe something from Eleanor Burns, or possible rail fence or snowball - nine patch, or ???????? Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.... :) |

Actually, all of mine have been easy...I just look for the easy patterns, as I just want to relax with quilting, not be SUPER challenged. I love seeing the quilts of you that are really good though!

Regular 9-patch with two colors. I used the floral fabric for the alternating block between the 9-pactches and used a tone-on-tone with sufficient contrast to make the 9-patches stand out. It was fast and looked great.

Disappearing 9 patch is fast, easy and looks like you did a lot more work than you did! Very pretty whether you use a few colors, or go for a scrappy look. Also, Lucky Stars by Atkinson Designs is very quick and easy to put together. It also looks good in many different types of fabric, whether batik, calicos, civil war prints.
