I especially like those pin cushions with the thread bag but any pin cushion or maybe a big tote that I can put quilt stuff in when going to class.

A seasonal table runner would be appreciated here. Or a bag to take to fabric store to put fabric in once purchased..so I don't have to use all of those plastic bags.

A quilted purse. I 've tried 3 times and they just do not turn out. I like a big purse with lots of pockets.

I got the pattern here. I didn't want the scissor holder so I changed the design to the loop and button you see in the picture.

Table runners, placemats, potholders, tote bags, etc., etc.

I have been making cloth baskets which are easy and pretty cool. Everyone I gave them too has liked them. Very cheap to make an you can use pieces of left over material.

That's really beautiful.

You know I dont think it would make a difference as to what the gift was. it would be appreciated just for the reason that you took the time to make a gift and send it to someone. But hey thats just MHO...

  Yes, if someone takes the time to put their love into making something for me it is a cherished gift.
