You are such an artist and I think I would love a funky stuffed creature made by you.

Several suggestions have been mentioned and are GREAT! I feel anything "homemade" is wonderful! I know I have a little hand towel that has been crocheted across the top somehow and I hang them over a handle below the kitchen sink. I just love it! I now have a pattern that the same principal is being used only the top is quilted. I think that would be an ideal gift. You could do according to the decor of the kitchen.

The fabric I've got in my stash for my Storm At Sea made into the quilt.-----------I'll start it some time, don't know when.

I can make almost anything I need so it's hard for me to pick.

I don't know what size of gift you're talking about so.........................

A custom made Christmas ornament. If you know, perhaps their favorite colors, favorite style. One of my all time favorte ornaments was the first ever counted cross stitch made by a gal I taught. It was a snowman on white 18 count. @@ I gave her a hard time every time she worked on it. White on white on 18 count? Although she loved it, she gave it to me because she knew I appreciated the work that went into it.

Something useful like a casserole carrier?

A vest or purse or something wearable?

My favorite handmade item was from a sewing friend. It's a tisssue holder with a mirror. Inside it has two pockets. I can use it as a wallet/tissue holder/make up bag all at the same time. It's a made in the hoop embroidery design.

I don't really have any quilting friends. I know quilters only by some of the classes we go to. My friends and family are getting a quilt of some kind. Mostly lap quilts but I'm trying to find something small to make for my boss; I'm running out of time with my list of things to do.

How about the baked potato bag for the nuker? I`m sure they would love it! Keeps the oven clean and they taste so good.
