fun little dog quilt I did. Now I'm not sure how to quilt the dog part, please help :))

I think your quilt is adogable!! What I might do is 'hand tie' here and there to create a furry sort of coat.

Depending on how wide the dog is you may not have to do anything. I can't tell how big the quilt is. If it's a wall hanging that won't be washed often you may be able to stop where you are. Depends on which batting you used. I love what you did though. Looks great.

this quilt is going to the dog, lol. I am giving it to my cousin for her weiner dog :)
soo. I will do some more quilting. I am just never sure how to blend the straight lines with the more curvy, if that makes sense........

Stitch in the ditch would work, just follow the seam lines between the fabrics. What a cute pattern!

You don't want them to blend - the curvies being in the doggie bits would heighten the contrast between the background and the pup - and you would be able to see the pup on the backside of the quilt too (I'm sure this is terribly important to your cousin's dog!), especially if you SITD around the pooch.

the back side is really cool too btw. I used an old shirt that feels like suede leather
