I recently discovered a unique resource.. I was watching my son change the plastic mesh (you know..the blue on one side and white on backside) that is used for the air-conditioning air return. I wondered how a small piece would work on collecting thread scraps on my cutting mat. Well, Lo and Behold !!! I think it works better than the lint roller because it is flexible and a little pressure gets into the seams nicely. So I stole a small piece and cut 1/2 dozen rectangles (like the school erasers) and now I'm set for life! One swipe and I'm ready to go. Give it a try! Sandy

if they'd make one that worked on my cocker spaniel, i'd buy it in a heartbeat. the last one i bought makes her look like she has rollers in her hair. won't do that again, lol! thought i'd go to the source, you know. i have a disposable design wall. as long as walmart sells flannel backed tablecloths for under $5 i'll have an unlimited supply! seriously, i buy them at any store i see them in. i don't consider it an impulse buy. it's a survival tool! i'm down to two hairy dogs, and a shedding cat, add in threads and my own silver strands, and you can see why i love those things. no such thing as too many! one in each car, one at each door, one in each bathroom and one in each room, two in the quilt room. oh, and the one stuck to the dog! lol
sewmoma, you finished before me, but we could be clones!
