I enjoy reading what others are doing, seeing the pictures of the items they have made and just plain chitchat. Most of all I have learned so much this past year just reading what others say. The advice is super!! I started out not matching my points to matching points just by doing what I have read here. It has made quilting more fun and enjoyable and not a job.

I love this board not just because of the wonderful ideas, advice, tips, etc on quilting, but it's such a loving community of nice people! I've been blessed by all of you - and not just about quilting! I'm a single Mom, homeschooling, working several part-time jobs (but still not making ends meet) and I don't have much sewing time lately, but I still come on here at least once a day to see my friends!

I love opening my email when there's a new quilting board listing. I can have pain or just not feel too well but just reading comments and informative listings makes me forget them...magic !!

I think the board gives quilters a lot of positive support and help when you need it.

I feel at home here and everyone is willing to help everyone else. It's true, where would you get so much support without paying for counseling? This board and sewing are my therapy.

I love it here. Can't wait to get to my emails each morning and I havent even made a quilt in a yr or 2.

I love the board because it showed me that I am not alone in quilting or being a fabric-holic (sp). I don't post much as I work full time and have only one day a weekk to devote to my quilting. I have found lots of ideas and friends on this board. I am glad we are all here together and thank the moderators for doing their job too.

Me too.I love everything I see, and I have tried a lot of the tutorials also. and I look forward to reading Ditters jokes and stories.I love to learn new things and this is the best place to learn.People on this board are so helpful and so friendly.Thanks to everyone on this board.

My favorite thing about this board is the questions "What did I do wrong?". You not only get answers, but you get so much encouragement, and enough answers to make your own ideas come alive.

I agree with this most wholeheartedly! I too mostly spend time reading all of the wonderful posts and information here but have posted very little. IT's a wonderful place to learn all sorts of new (to me anyway) ways of making quilts and how everyones projects are always so beautiful. :thumbup:
