Backing for three small quilts or two twins? Fabric is good. I bought some backing that way. For a child's quilt it is way more fun then just plain muslin plus it is cheaper. You'll find a use for it or trade it.

That would look very pretty as a backing after it's quilted. The quilt could be made with bright colors, I like it.
