Do you have some "What was I thinking?" fabric?
I was looking in my stash for a piece of backing, and discovered this. Price tag still on it, on sale for a dollar a yard. 11 yards! Lol!! |

I just looked at the receipt, I got this in 2006! I guess that shows how deep my stash is.

Well Shelby, I do not think it is fair to you for everyone to expect to buy this piece of fabric for the $1 yd you paid for it and no telling when you bought it when all this fabric being offered on Quilt Board is soooo much more expensive and probably been in the stash pile just as long. Think about what you want to do and how much you will sell it for and then tell everyone. In the meantime I am still interested in the whole 11 yards and still would like to know if background is black or navy. I really do not care I just would like to know.

As for selling it, as mentioned by someone else, she doesn't mean the requirements to list it for sale... (that however doesn't stop her from doing a private sale via pm or email)

Shelby.. NO NEED to apologize for your original post....I thought your post was FUNNY AS HECK! Bet we all have a few hunks of fabric like that stuffed in our stash. Maybe if we ALL post photos of our "WHAT Was I Thinking???" fabrics we can end up doing a massive swap...LOL My local quilting partner in crime used to buy BOLTS of fabrics...and now she has a bunch of bolts of little tiny country prints that she's grown out of etc... There is POTENTIAL HERE TO BE SOME SERIOUS FUN....LOL |

I love it! You have enough to have pieces on the front and then use it for the backing.
